Peacock

In contrast to Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell, and Comma, the Peacock is relatively abundant in Latchmore.  It is notoriously territorial, and the path alongside Alderhill Inclosure which forms part of Section 6 of the route is obviously sought-after habitat, with Peacocks often seen chasing off rivals, and challenging intruders, including by flying at people at head-height to escort them away.
