Large White

The Large White emerges later in Spring, with a few sightings in May, then is generally not seen until July, when a much more numerous second brood emerges.  Late August is the best time to see it, although it is never as common in Latchmore than in surrounding gardens and paddocks.  In 2021, there was no sign of the first brood, and more unusually, there were no sightings beyond July.
